Dogs welcome in Schouwseduin32
Your dog is very welcome in our holiday home. The 550 m² garden is fully fenced, so your dog can play safely outside. The house borders on the nature reserve De Zeepeduinen.
Dogs on the beach
- From October 1st until April 30th: dogs are allowed to roam freely on the beach and in the sea all day.
- May 1st to October 1st: dogs may roam freely between 7:00 PM and 10:00 AM. Outside these times, dogs must be on a leash.
Exceptions on certain beaches
- The Verklikkerstrand: from 1 April to 15 September, dogs must always be on a leash on this beach.
- Between De Punt and the Oosterscheldekering near Westerschouwen: dogs may run free all year round here.
Off-leash areas nearby
- The forest of Westerschouwen: the largest forest in Zeeland has a special off-leash area behind the campings, between the forest edge and the bridle path near the Adriaan van der Weijdeweg.
- Grevelingendam: at the end of the Strandweg, in the recreation area Grevelingenstrand, there is a dog off-leash area.
- The nature reserve with creeks near Ouwerkerk: a beautiful area to walk with your dog. Pay attention: dogs must be on a leash in some places.

- Always take pooper scoopers with you and pick up your dog's waste.
- Pay attention to the signs on location: the rules may vary per area.
